Fair Winds designBolo Ties

Bolo Ties are a Western style, also called a string tie.  Though the original style is western, they have taken on a broad spectrum of flavors. Fair Winds design offers a variety of bolo ties made with a variety of knots, stones, and precious metals.

Figure-8 Bolo Tie

Knot Bolo Ties

This simple Figure-8 knot is tied in the end of a line to keep it from fraying or to prevent the line from passing through a block or cleat. It is sometimes called an infinity knot because, when held sideways, it looks like the infinity symbol. This bolo tie has the Figure-8 Knot set on a polished stone. Black, brown, or colored leather braids may be chosen for the string.

Fair Winds design brings to you, this fine custom jewelry in men's or women's sizes or custom to your specifications. The stone may be (almost) any stone you desire. You select what Knot you want: Overhand, Figure-8, Square Knot, Bowline, Carrick Bend, and many more.

Quadrafoil Bolo Tie

Quadrafoil Bolo

A Celtic quadrafoil knot is a turkshead of three strands and four loops. This example has a stone of turquoise set in the center. Black, brown, or colored leather braids may be chosen for the string.
